Derby Pottery manufactures Victorian reproduction tile in the spirit of the great Studio Art potteries of the past.

Each piece is hand pressed, hand finished and inspected for quality. We strive for historically accurate glaze colors and finishes with our pallet including blues, greens, ambers, creams, and bone. Our Victorian tile line recaptures the lost art of a patterned relief tile enhanced by a colored transparent glaze. Soft matte glazes are available along with a crackle glaze on a more limited basis.

* Our tiles are made to order and require 6-8 weeks delivery time. * Individual sample tiles and smaller orders require 2-3 weeks lead time. * Please inquire about customized needs, or special color considerations.

We love New Orleans and its gift of aesthetic history. Derby Pottery and Tile is housed in an 1860's residential and commercial building along historic Magazine Row, now home to an eclectic mix of antique dealers, art galleries, clothiers, and us, the potters.
