Water Meter Clocks
The Water Meter clock is an exact copy of the iron cover which anyone who has visited New Orleans will undoubtedly remember seeing in the city sidewalks. there are literally thousands of these covers all over the city.
It is interesting to note that there are five different styles which are in use by the City of New Orleans. The particular image we use exhibits a classic " Jazz Age " graphic style popularized in the 1930's. A crescent moon radiates light into a star filled night sky. The Crescent moon is of course a reference to the Crescent City, also known as New Orleans, so named for the shape the city assumes as it hugs the curvature of the Mississippi River.
We offer two styles, an 11" diameter round, and a 14" square.
